ABOUT

Mike was born and raised right here in Sanford, Florida. After graduating from Seminole High School he furthered his education by receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Currently, he is working toward his Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. During that time, he married his wonderful wife Kayla in March of 2018. Mike began serving at Central as an intern in 2013 and became the full-time Student and Young Professionals Pastor in April 2019. Mike is honored to not only call Central his home but also to serve the community that he grew up in.

WHAT'S MIKE'S FAVORITE THING ABOUT CENTRAL?

My favorite thing about Central is definitely the people. Over the past 8 years, God has used Central to fill my life with incredible friends that have taught me more than I can imagine and have become as close as family. 

FUN FACTS

My favorite sport is absolutely football! I am a UCF Grad (Go Knights! Charge On!)

and born and raised a Florida Gator fan (Go Gators!).

I love anything Star Wars! So much so that every year, my wife Kayla buys me a replica

lightsaber for my birthday and it is consistently my favorite gift!

My passion is teaching. This comes through in the way that I minister to Students. While the Bible is my favorite thing to teach, I enjoy teaching anything from football to Jesus. If I was not a Pastor, I would most likely be a high school history teacher.
